The Omnia Insights #35
? 38th Birthday and Going Beyond HR Trends & Hashtags
Happy birthday to us…Omnia turned 38 in March! We couldn’t have done it without the immense support, hard work, and trust of our employees, partners, and clients. A big thank you straight from the heart!
It goes without saying that our employees have been the cornerstone of our success, and we take great pride in the fact that many have celebrated their 25th anniversary with us. A deep emotional connection to work and high levels of employee motivation are key factors that have helped us achieve this milestone.
Trends and hashtags like #QuietQuitting or #TheGreatResignation will come and go, but employee engagement and motivation will always be critical. One way of keeping employees motivated and engaged is by offering them growth opportunities. Our Talent Trends Survey Report 2023 substantiates this. Growth opportunities and professional development emerged as the top two talent-related initiatives our surveyed organizations are taking in the year.
In this issue, read our eight strategies for putting a stop to declining employee engagement and take a deep dive into how leaders can address “quiet quitting.” Also, let’s talk about how you can nurture and cultivate your employees without worrying about the trending hashtags in our upcoming webinar.
There isn’t one simple strategy for employee engagement. It requires a multi-dimensional approach fueled by continuous improvement. One big step is creating an employee-first culture. When our leadership team searched for community outreach initiatives, our employees unanimously decided to support and strengthen the community by partnering with Habitat for Humanity. That’s how we spent our 38th anniversary — a day out with our team working together to restore a home for a veteran.
See you next month!
