The Omnia Insights #27
?Could you be a better leader? Know your Leadership Traits.
This month, our attention has been fixated on leadership traits in honor of our country's birth. But as we cast our eyes and weigh what leadership looks like in today's context, it looks increasingly challenging.
Revolutionary leadership is what we need for a complete or dramatic change for leaders to rally around each other and pursue common ground to not just be future-centric but also address the core problems at hand. And we do see examples of such leadership which conjure up images of courage, fortitude, and boldness – Volodymyr Zelensky, Aly Raisman, Megan Rapinoe – the list is endless. Of course, there are countless examples of revolutionary leadership at the ground level too, that go unnoticed but make a much greater impact.
So, what does it take to be a revolutionary leader wherever you are with whatever cause that means something personally to you? In this issue, we show you how recognizing your personal motivators and drivers via behavioral assessments can push you to recognize the needs of others and become a revolutionary leader. We also show you how you can work with different personalities for a common cause and recap the five leadership traits of our founding fathers that you can learn from.
Visionary, assertive, results-driven, thriving under pressure, decisive, resilient, courageous, bold - all of these leadership traits can be found in the examples of our founding fathers and in the leaders we see in the headlines today. But no leader – good or bad – could ever bring about a revolution unless they dive into their own strengths and weaknesses and that of others around them. Omnia's assessments can help!
See you next month!
