THE OMNIA INSIGHTS
It’s in our darkest hours when we instinctively look to leadership for guidance, support, and the motivation to persevere. That’s a lot of weight to bear. Even when the best leaders make it look easy, it isn’t easy! It takes courage. Courage to rise to the top and be the lighted guidepost for your team and company. It takes courage to lean on your knowledge and expertise when striking off on a new adventure, to take risks with no safety net, to deliver bad news, to listen openly, and most importantly, to look in the mirror and confront what you see!
You saw us highlight Sir Ernest Shackleton in our Takeaway Tuesday about Courageous Leadership. He was the leader of the 1914 Transatlantic expedition to explore Antarctica. If you missed it, you can view it on-demand here.
In this issue, we’ve captured some of the courageous leadership lessons we’ve learned as a company and as individuals. We include key lessons from leadership and how learning from them can help guide you. And we bring you tips to avoid becoming a bad manager, which can happen when times are stressful and unpredictable for too long.
For those of you in the US, we hope you had a great Thanksgiving, even if it did look a little different this year. To everyone, we want you to know we’re thankful for all of YOU!
Stay tuned for more exciting things until next time!
